I've said it before and I'll say it again: Fundamentalists can go to hell. G Dubb will still have Veto power, but if he wants to get anything done he's going to have to play nicely just like Clinton had to.

It's the federal funding for embryonic stem-celled research that may come about with the change in the House & the Senate.

"Neither Congress nor any administration has ever prohibited private funding of embryonic research. Also, public and private funding of adult stem cell research has no restriction whatsoever."

We need federal funding for this type of science. It is very important. Think of all the problems stem cell research may solve. I'm not saying it is a magic bullet, but it is important enough to warrant heavy funding.

I am VERY happy about this, because Stem Cell research is a very important thing.

I can say this from personal experience, because I have a dead gland in my brain, and if research was conducted, they may find a cure for my disease.

And THAT would really make my day.
