g7 is a nice mouse thought the battery drains quite fast. I would love logitech include 2 side buttons. Their new mouse looks really awesome and I tried the scroll wheel at local store it rocks I think.

i think the new G7 looks like it's a great mouse, and if you keep it on its charger when your not using it you should be fine

The G7 does not use a drop in charger. It uses battery packs.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

Not a big fan of cordless mice but that might change if I ever buy one.

What does this mean to me? The G5 is going to go down in price.

Fuck new products.

Its not who a person is in the inside, but what he does that defines him.

Though my G-7's aren't black, they are a welcome addition to my gaming arsenal.

I hear that the Logitec laser mice have had problems with shiner surfaces/mouse pads such as the icemats. However, there was a recent firmware update that many people have reported as fixing these issues.

Personally, I've got a G5, the G7 wired counter part. Where the G7 has the battery, the G5 has adjustable weights, which is pretty nice as you can change how the mouse feels. It's also got a clothy/nylon cord instead of the normal rubber cords and it reduces a lot of friction.
