New White Stripes CD

Someone just told me there is a new White Stripes CD coming out. I love the White Stripes! Anyone else?

I liked the White Stripes a lot, but I though they weren't going to be making any new music, Does anyone know if his other band is going to continue putting out new stuff?

I haven't heard much of them. Are they any good?

The last one was pretty decent. Not something I would listen to all the time though. Would be curious to hear the new one.

Ooh! *Raises hand* If you're going to listen to them for the first time, get Elephant. I'd say that was their best. 2nd best is a toss up between De Stijl and White Blood Cells, so you can get either of those next, they're very old school blues/country influenced with a bit of rock, sometimes reminiscent of Led Zeppelin.

As far as I know, The Raconteurs were just sort of a side project for Jack, and that he would continue to play in both bands. A lot of people do that and it works, so hopefully this will, I like both bands respectively.

Thanks for explaining who they are. I think this is the first time I hear the name. I feel very ignorant sometimes!

Oh my...well take my suggestion or look on YouTube for some White Stripes stuff. If you like Led Zeppelin or old timey blues or country with a hint of rock and roll, you'll love it.
