So who's using what here?

On this end I have a Yamaha FG-75. I don't care what you say, this old baby has just a good a sound as some of the pricer guitars. It's got a really rich tone. Very bassy. I'm using extra lites on this baby but I'll probably move it up to custom. Great for anything from folk to accoustic rock. It's amazing the tone you get with such a small sound chamber. And it's very durable.

I'm also sporting a BC Rich Warlock. It was given to me as a gift. I'm not really into BC Rich's style or guitar, but I haven't had bad experiences with this one. It's sharp edges and 24 frets give that whole "metal" look, but I'm not really into the metal look. And I'm not really into this guitar. I play my FG-75 a lot more than this bad-boy.

WISHLIST:

PRS Custom 24 with the birds on the frets in either scarlet red or custom black. AHHH! THE DAMAGE I COULD DO WITH THAT MOFO! Sure, anyone can play a BC Rich guitar metal as hell. But when you take the preferred guitar of Santana and turn it from a spirtual essence into an uzi with you behind the trigger, that's when you know you've done something awesome. Beautiful guitar all around. And as Type O Negative once said "I'd rather take something beautiful and then totally mutilate it."

I don't have a guitar, which makes sense because I don't know how to play one. But I do have a friend who's in a metal band and he swears by Yamaha. I'll ask him what model he has if I get the chance, it could be the same one.

Well same brand anyway, my FG-75 is an accoustic model. It was my grandfather's and he passed it on to me. It's got a lot of wear and tear but it still creates a sound like you wouldn't believe.

Haha, trust me, you'd think I had tried to break it with all the scratches and dings it's got in it.

Well either way, try not to break it or else the ghost of your grandfather will haunt you! Even though you didn't say he passed away...umm...well if he hasn't...when he does...THEN he'll haunt you. In the mean time he'll just give you a series of obscene phone calls.

My little bro has a Johnson Dreadnaught or something like that. It's acoustic only. He's just learning and I think he's doing damn good.
