an e-mail worm from google! well now they are apologizing, they could not even stop it.
this means that we should not trust any e-mail company..

I think we can trust companies, we should just be cautious. I virus scan all files I download, so I am safe.

You think you are safe but are you really?

I'm not going to trust the companies, I'd like to think it's my own caution keeping this crap from getting me.

even by scaning them it does not work as properly . if you get to a site, and it has a maliciuos software on it, you cant get away with it.
what is your anti-virus software?

AVG Free, Windows Firewall, Windows Defender, Spybot S&D, Ad Aware and Common Sense.

As long as I use all these programs regularly, and be smart about what I download from where, I am generally safe. I realize that you cannot avoid everything, but I can damn well try.

i have had no virus myself as i download from only those sites, which are reliable and dont be angry,ok.
i was not pointing at you and saying 'you can never save yourself or whatever'.

Um... I'm not angry?

And THAT people, is the joy of the internet, the fact that someone can be perfectly calm or sarcastic, and another person can interpret that as anger...

Anyways, I'm a Gmail user, and didn't get this worm, so I'm happy.
