The Sonic Amateur Gaming Expo's 13th event began today.
For those not involved in the "scene," SAGE is essentially a place where talented programmers and artists show off fan games they have been working on, sort of like a close-knit version of E3, and is one of the most major pieces of the Sonic community. Games such as Sonic: Time Attacked and SRB2 have been first shown at the Expo in the past, which have gone on to be resounding successes. There will be workshops and online broadcasts involving various people involved in the series in the past, as well as a few non-Sonic related games (there is a Halo fangame, for example).

Personally, I'm looking forward to another Emerald Ties: Crossing Fates demo.
